- Use a gentle all-in-one cleaner to remove heavier, stuck-on stains.
- Apply a furniture polish (like Pledge) every now and then to fill in scratches and enhance the shine
You can also use more natural cleaning products to get the job done right.
No matter what you use, make sure to check for any volatile chemicals hidden in the solution. Anything with ammonia, bleach, vinegar or citric acid is a no-go. Here’s what else you need to avoid.
